Foam glass is a new type of inorganic material that provides thermal insulation, flame retardancy, and sound absorption. Made from pure glass, it is foamed in a high-temperature tunnel kiln with an appropriate amount of foaming agent, followed by annealing and cooling. It exhibits excellent chemical stability, corrosion resistance, UV resistance, and thermal radiation resistance.
It resists decomposition at high temperatures and prevents deterioration at low temperatures. It also boasts high mechanical strength and is easy to process and cut into various shapes. With a long service life, it resists weathering and aging. This material is widely used in petrochemical, power, defense, and factory decoration applications.
