Digital printing Glass with ceramic inks is ideal for decorative, functional, and environmental purposes. This technology integrates digital glass printers, ceramic inks, and image processing software to allow precise control over transparency, translucency, and opacity. Unlike traditional screen printing, digital ceramic printing does not require screens, making it simple to print any size in high resolution and full color.
The glass is fired or tempered to fuse the ceramic inks with the substrate. This process involves the decomposition of organic additives, followed by the fusion of the frit to give a compacted, bubble-free structure with homogeneous pigment dispersion.
