The four-axis grinding and polishing machine is a high-precision surface treatment equipment that achieves all-around, multi-angle precision grinding and polishing of workpieces through the coordinated movement of four motion axes (X, Y, Z linear axes + B rotational axis). Its core working principle involves servo motors driving high-precision ball screws and linear guide systems, combined with pneumatic or hydraulic pressure control devices, to ensure precise contact between the grinding/polishing tool and the workpiece surface. Through the abrasive action of grinding particles, surface flaws are removed, achieving the required flatness and smoothness.
It is primarily used for grinding and polishing curved, spherical, and flat surfaces of brittle materials such as optical glass, quartz glass, crystal materials, and electronic components, as well as for grinding and polishing various high-precision flat and concave-convex spherical molds.
